Representatives of Germany and France Jens Pletner and Emmanuel Bonn
reaffirmed their commitment to the “Minsk agreements” to resolve the conflict in the south-east of Ukraine. This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Russia Dmitry Kozak following the talks, reports TASS

According to him, the representatives of the countries discussed “a number of practical steps to implement the Minsk agreements.”

Kozak noted that the creation of parallel formats within the “Normandy Four” is not discussed, it is harmful and disorganizes the negotiation process, he said.

Kozak will meet with colleagues in the “Normandy format” on January 6

In addition, Kozak said that the representatives of Russia, Germany and France agreed on further contacts, including with the participation of Ukraine, for an early end to the conflict in the east of the country.
