Green Yellow against TOP from Sassenheim – NH Sport/Frank van der Meijden

Green Yellow, that played his first game after the winter break, knew that this game would be extremely important because TOP is a direct competitor in the ranking. In the event of a defeat, participation in the relegation pool would have been almost inevitable. Partly for this reason, the team of coaches Thijs Muller and Daniel Harmzen started the game very sharply. They quickly took a lead and halfway through the first half the difference had already risen to five points: 9-4.

Fighting korfball

TOP tried to catch up, but Green Yellow didn’t allow it. Halfway through, it was 14-10 in favor of the home team. After the break there was an even fiercer battle for every ball and often it was Green Yellow that came out as the winner. Thanks to the much scoring Carlo de Vries (6) and Lindsey Krop (4), the victory was finally secured: 25-18.
