Striker By Jonas Oden career will continue next season in KooKoo, sources tell Iltalehti.

The 23-year-old forward is a SaiPa player, but is currently playing on a loan contract until the end of the season in the beautiful alpine scenery of Austria in the Voralrberg Pioneers team.

– The joint expectations and goals of the club and the player were not met. Consequently, playing time in the current season at SaiPa was scarce. We thank Joonas for his time at SaiPa and wish him success in the future, sports director of Liiga-SaiPa Oy Harri Aho commented in the club’s press release on December 18, when Oden’s loan move to Austria was announced.

Born in the state of Washington, USA, Oden played 14 matches in SaiPa with an output of 0+4. The man also showed up with a loan from Mestis Ketterästi.

A familiar place

Haukiputa’s Ahmojen grew up and played in KooKoo as a junior for several years. The man’s league debut also took place in Kouvola.

After that, the flamboyant striker shooting from the right put on the jerseys of Ilves and SaiPa.

The attacker has played a total of 225 matches in the League and scored 30 goals and 87 power points in them.

The player’s little brother Markus Oden is a contract player of Jukurie, but is currently playing on loan in Kiekko-Espoo.

KooKoo is currently ranked 14th in the League. SaiPa is last.
