Konyaspor announced that the extraordinary general assembly has been postponed – Last minute Konyaspor news

Konyaspor Club Extraordinary General Assembly was postponed to Monday, November 27, due to lack of quorum.

At the meeting held in a hotel in the city center, a quorum was not reached.

Konyaspor President Fatih Özgökçen, at the press conference he held on the subject at the same hotel, stated that the general assembly was postponed one week later, at the same place and at the same time, because the quorum could not be reached.

Stating that they are working to contribute to Konyaspor, one of the biggest brands of the city, Özgökçen stated that the club is an indispensable value for them and the city.

Özgökçen explained that at a point when the fans’ resignation rhetoric had reached its peak, they made the general assembly decision under the influence of sports success and failure, and said:

“Before the general assembly decision was taken, we had meetings with our friends, brothers and business people who could be administrators in our city. This also happened during the period and after the general assembly decision. I also had meetings, and some of our friends also had meetings. In today’s extraordinary general assembly, we immediately fulfilled our duty. “We would have liked the new management to start working as soon as possible, but this was not possible.”

Providing information about Konyaspor’s debt, Özgökçen said:

“Konyaspor’s debt in August is announced as 634 million lira. ‘We are ready to give this to everyone.’ We say, believing and trusting the rumors, ‘There is no debt of 634 million lira, it is much more.’ We do not respect the statements made by the official authorities and the acquitted statements. This is of no use to anyone. Even if Konyaspor’s debt is 50 liras, Konyaspor is ours, even if it is 1.5 million liras, Konyaspor is ours. To protect We have to. Why don’t we have many presidential candidates? I want to tell you from my own experience why they don’t appear. When we come, we bring them with great care. But when we send them, we send them back as people who are very damaging, including their personalities, as if they did not serve there, did not make an effort. We were going to explain it in great detail today, but A debt of 20 million euros is not a very high figure for Konya today, but we have observed over the past 2.5-3 years that there are not many applicants, not because people run away from this figure, but because of wear and tear and the fear of the people who love Konyaspor being harmed by this business. “
