Lisa Theresa Hauser won the women’s 7.5 km speed race in Kontiolahti on Saturday. The Austrian shot zeros.

Second place was taken by Italy, who missed one shot Lisa Vittozzi (+17.3). Sweden shot without bombs Linn Persson was third (+24.2).

Mari Eder was the best Finn in the race, nineteenth (+50.3). Eder shot zeros in the lying position and was even fifth in the competition.

There were two bombs from vertical shooting.

– When standing up, the magazine didn’t go all the way. I fired a blank first and had to start over. For some reason, I didn’t feel like the magazine didn’t go all the way. You can hear a sound from it, but you can usually also feel it with your finger. Care is required, Eder updated in an interview with Yle.

All five Finns made it to Sunday’s pursuit race.

Among the Finns, the one who shot zeros was the best on the bench Venla Lehtonen. He finished 40th.

Suvi Minkkinen shot only one miss and was 27th. Nastassia Kinnunen marked one bomb at both shooting locations. The ranking was 43rd.

Erika Jänkä took 55th place.

The women’s 10 km pursuit race starts on Sunday at 15:15.
