Konstantin Wecker is once again the center of attention – this time for a particularly sensitive reason. That’s why he can only remember fragments of the events at that time. The musician, who was already married to his wife Annik, who was 27 years his junior, emphasizes that he “didn’t prove himself” in this phase of his life. The couple later separated, but got back together after a few years and now lives together again with their two sons.
Just a few weeks ago, Wecker canceled the remaining November concerts for health reasons. A neurological disease, which may be related to decades of alcohol consumption, is now making it much more difficult for him to play the piano. In interviews he spoke openly about the fact that doctors have not yet been able to make a clear diagnosis. The symptoms are a persistent burden for him, the origin of which remains unclear.
