Former Sotkamo Jymy baseball player Konsta Kurikka continues to pursue their baseball dreams in Germany.

Kurikka last played in the Spanish main league in Valencia Antorcha.

The journey of the now-throwing 21-year-old athlete continues to Munich with a club called Haar-Disciples.

Kurikka made his baseball debut in the German Bundesliga with Heidenheim Heideköpfe before leaving for Spain.

Former Finnish baseball champion Kurikka commented on his transfer in a press release.

– I expect my new club to have a more professional approach to both training and matches in relation to the Spanish series. Personally, I need more hard work, good coaching and more experience in the game. All of these are available in Munich.

Kurikka will play his first international matches with Finland in the July European Championship qualifiers in Lithuania. Lithuania, Switzerland and Romania are facing off.
