Injured against Cologne

Konrad Laimer will be missing from FC Bayern for the time being. The 28-year-old right-back tore a muscle fiber in his left calf in the 3-1 win against 1. FC Cologne, the club announced on Thursday. Since Bayern had already used their three substitution windows, he had to leave the field in stoppage time without a substitute.
Laimer only missed the game against 1. FC Heidenheim just before Christmas this season because he had received his fifth yellow card the week before. He was on the field in each of the other 26 games and was in strong form. The Austrian national player scored two goals and eight assists. There is a bottleneck on the record champions’ right defense as Josip Stanisic and Sacha Boey are also currently missing Vincent Kompany.
