Konrad Fünfstück becomes national coach of Liechtenstein

Ex-FCK coach

Former Kaiserslautern coach Konrad Fünfstück will take over as head coach of the Liechtenstein national team in the summer and succeed Martin Stocklasa. For the 42-year-old, who most recently coached SV Werder Bremen’s second deputy, it is the first post at association level.

“For me it is something special and an honor to work as national coach in the future. I’m looking forward to the team and the employees of the Liechtenstein Football Association,” said Fünfstück. LFV President Hugo Quaderer said: “With Konrad Fünfstück we were able to hire a proven expert as national coach who has a lot of experience and considerable success in working with young players. We are convinced that with this background and his regional knowledge he is the right man to follow up on the personnel changes in the national team.” The German coach is to be officially introduced on Thursday.
