Koninklijke HFC continues longer with trainer Gertjan Tamerus

Gertjan Tamerus will also be at the helm of Royal HFC in the near future. The trainer has extended his contract with the club from the second division for two years.

Tamerus is now in his fifth season at Spanjaardslaan. The former professional footballer manages to achieve excellent results every year despite a small budget from the Haarlem club. That is now rewarded with two extra years.

Tamerus previously worked as an assistant trainer at Telstar. He currently combines being head coach at Koninklijke HFC with his work at Ajax’s youth. Tamerus is responsible for the Under 17 and Under 18 of the team from Amsterdam.

Koninklijke HFC is currently in thirteenth place in the second division. With 22 points from 20 games, things are not going well this season. Tomorrow Royal HFC will visit Scheveningen at 3.30 pm.
