Kollegah offers itself as a political advisor “for the good of the population”.

Kollegah would like to join the political advisors. Felix Blume, the real name of the rapper, demanded in an Instagram post on Monday “all politicians who still have a spark of honor, values and idealism”, to “Immediately work together across party lines FOR THE WELL-BEING OF THE POPULATION.” But the controversial rapper not only expressed criticism, but also offered a solution. Namely himself as “Contact and advisor for meaningful and long-term solutions to the problems in this country”.

However, Kollegah did not define these statements more precisely and it is therefore questionable what his political ideas and goals could look like. However, there are some indications of the rapper’s political course.

As Kollegah has noticed politically so far

Most recently, there were protests before his performance on September 10th at the “Hiphop Moves” festival in Munich. Some of his lyrics are said to be anti-Semitic in nature. The President of the Jewish community in Munich and Upper Bavaria, Charlotte Knobloch, therefore called for the rapper to be invited to the festival. Kollegah was allowed to perform together with Farid Bang because, according to the organizer, the invitation of the two was desired by a “very diverse and multicultural community that integrates a lot of nationalities, countries of origin and faiths”.

Even before that, there were allegations of anti-Semitism against the rapper. An appearance by him, the 2019, which was also supposed to take place in Munich as part of his MONUMENT tour, was first moved to another location and then cancelled. At that time, Charlotte Knobloch was also responsible for the cancellation.

Probably the biggest scandal, however, arose at the “Echo” award ceremony in 2018. Even before the start, the International Auschwitz Committee declared that the participation of the rapper duo Kollegah and Farid Bang in the award ceremony was “a slap in the face and a slap in the face for all survivors of the Holocaust.” shameful process for Germany”. Even then there was protest from the public. Ultimately, the two rappers returned their awards and the “echo” as such was abolished.

But the rapper showed himself politically not only from this side. Apparently, sustainability also plays a role for him. In April 2022, Kollegah started a campaign with the organization “planted” to plant trees. 1000 trees were planted as part of this campaign.

Felix Blume also received clear criticism for his “alpha mentoring”.
