Contract at Heerenveen ends

Werder Bremen and Hertha BSC apparently go away empty -handed in the advertising around Mats Köhlert. As the Danish medium “Bold.dk” reported and later also “Sky”, the 27-year-old is about to move from SC Heerenveen to the Bröndby IF. There is a German director of professional football with Benjamin Schmedes. With a market value of 4 million euros, Köhlert is one of the most valuable German professionals with the end of the contract this summer. The left -back therefore changes free of charge.

The Hamburg-born is one of the top performers at Heerenveen and is also a co-captain. Since his transfer -free change from Willem II Tilburg in the summer of 2022, he has had 99 missions with four goals and eleven templates. “If you can see which players have sold Heerenveen in club history, it is already a platform to draw attention to yourself,” said Köhlert in the transfer market interview three years ago. This platform is now reportedly used by the defender.
The former German U21 international was trained at HSV for a long time and was three times on the pitch in the 2nd Bundesliga in 2019. In the same year, Köhlert ventured abroad with the transfer -free change towards Tilburg.
