In the draw for the second round of the KNVB Cup, only away games were selected for the four remaining North Holland teams. Ajax will go to Den Bosch, AZ will play against Excelsior, FC Volendam will have to travel to Heerenveen and Telstar will compete against FC Twente in Enschede.
All matches in the second round will be played in Qatar after the 2022 World Cup. The playing dates are Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 January 2023. The exact playing program will be announced later.
