On Tuesday 13 May 2025, care providers, policy makers, researchers and administrators will meet in Paushuize Utrecht for our annual knowledge conference.
In interactive workshops and inspiring sessions we will discuss urgent questions:
- What works with de-escalation?
- How does intimidation influence our behavior?
- How does your behavior if your declaration are not an option?
- How do we use figures, guidelines and policy to make a real difference?
We discuss themes such as repair rights, increased staff size, psychosocial aftercare and the crucial role of the employer. Because working safely is not a luxury, but a basic condition.
An important moment during the conference is the presentation of the revised Psychosocial Support Directive for High-Risic Boeken. This directive marks a milestone in the pursuit of being a good employer and structural support for professionals who are dealing with risks in their work.
We also look ahead. The Taskforce Our care providers Safe, who has been active since 2021, will stop in 2026. The acquired knowledge, insights and practical experiences should not be lost. During the concluding panel discussion we explore how we can guarantee the approach sustainably. How do we ensure that what we learn continues to live and makes a permanent impact?
