Knokke, one point behind leader Hasselt, fell behind early in Zelzate. The home team ran out 2-0 through Yondjouen and De Coninck. Shortly after half-time, Cooman scored the tying goal and Vanleenhove and Braem ultimately secured the 2-3 win for the visitors.
Despite the late turnaround, it wasn’t enough. Competitor Sporting Hasselt won against Dessel Sport and thus took the title one point ahead of FC Knokke.
