It may be slippery on the road again. The KNMI is therefore once again warning road users with code yellow for slipping and sliding. The warning applies in Drenthe until 11 a.m. this morning.
According to the weather institute, wet road sections can freeze and there is even a chance of a winter shower. Code yellow applies to the entire country, with the exception of the Wadden Islands.
Rijkswaterstaat also issued a warning: “Road users throughout the country must be alert to dangerous driving conditions due to freezing of wet road sections. Adjust your driving style when you go on the road.”
Code yellow was also issued yesterday morning. Even then, the KNMI warned of slippery roads.
