Kitty Raven (80) says that it all started on Facebook, when she received a message from someone claiming to be actor Martin Henderson, the protagonist of the series Virgin River. He even sent private photos and videos to her. “That’s where I met him. He wanted me to buy gift cards for him. Then I would get a VIP card and get in touch with him personally,” she says.
Special bond
No sooner said than done. She purchases gift vouchers worth 500 euros upon request and forwards the codes. “I then had to photograph the numbers, and then he collected them,” she explains. According to her, it all seems very believable and she feels a kind of special bond with Henderson.
