Kiss played a small show for less than 100 people in Austin, Texas this past weekend. Shortly before the start of the tour they performed at the Vulcan Gas Company at a private event of the tobacco manufacturer Philip Morris International. In total they performed 14 songs. Video recordings of it and the complete set list can be found here in the article. The performance of private concerts is usually not made public by the musicians themselves – not least because they are usually paid handsomely for it, but sometimes not because the organizer does not fit the band’s image. Kiss bassist Gene Simmons says he’s never touched drugs before – now he’s performed in front of a tobacco company.

Kiss are currently on tour
The formation has been on the “Kiss Kruise XI” tour since Monday (October 24th). Among others, George Lynch from Dokken as well as Warrant and LA Guns will play there. Black Label Society, Buckcherry, Stryper and Vixen will perform on part two of the cruise, which departs October 29th.
As part of their “END OF THE ROAD WORLD TOUR”, Kiss will be giving concerts in Los Angeles (two shows), Tokyo and Mexico this year.
