It’s a question that’s bound to have crossed someone’s mind: “If there was a movie about your life, who would play you?” On the red carpet of the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles, Avril Lavigne was now confronted with exactly this mind game. The pop-punk icon laughed at first, before replying after a moment’s thought, “Kristen Stewart would be cool if she played me in a movie. She’s great.”

Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne weave laurel wreaths for each other
The 37-year-old also praised Taylor Swift at the awards ceremony. Speaking of a potential collaboration, she said: “I mean, Taylor is amazing! Anything could happen. I would be on board!” Several years after a joint duet on stage, Swift also congratulated her on the comeback: “It was so cute! And she’s beautiful and it was sweet news that she loves the new album.” Swift complimented her colleague, saying, “Avril I was dancing in my kitchen to your fabulous new album!! It’s as AMAZING as you are. Your eternal fan, Taylor.”
Avril Lavigne released her seventh studio album, Love Sux, last month. It features Machine Gun Kelly and Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus.
