The Brazilian website uoL.com says Kimi Räikkönen negotiating a return to the wheel of a formula car.
According to the website, Räikkönen has held negotiations with Chip Ganassi Racing, which competes in the IndyCar series. The 42-year-old Finn is supposed to share a car in the 2023 season Jimmie Johnson with. Johnson, who created a career as a NASCAR legend, would drive the series’ oval races and Räikkönen the races run on traditional motor tracks.
Räikkönen, who ended his long and handsome F1 career last season, drove a NASCAR series race in the USA at the Watkins Glen motor track in August. The race ended in a crash and suspension.
