Kik will have to do without CFO Rüdiger Hartmann in the future.
Hartmann left the textile discounter on the best of terms, Kik confirmed on Friday when asked by FashionUnited. Although the departure of the CFO is regretted, as CEO Patrick Zahn emphasized, the successor has already been arranged.
Daniel Kunzi will initially take over the role of CFO in the management on an interim basis for the outgoing CFO. Kunzi brings extensive trading and financial experience, according to the statement. Over the course of his career, he has held management positions such as member of the management team at the Lidl supermarket chain, board member for administration at the Kaufland grocery chain and CFO of the investment company Müller Holding. Most recently, he served as CFO of the Schön Klinik clinic group for three years.
Kunzi will succeed Hartmann, who joined Kik in May 2021 in the midst of the corona pandemic. In this role, Hartmann “made a significant contribution to ensuring that KiK was able to continue its growth path,” explained Christian Haub from KiK shareholder Tengelmann Twenty-One KG. Before his time at Kik, Hartmann worked at the Bindlach-based textile discounter NKD.
In addition to Kunzi, who joins the management as CFO, the KiK management also includes chairman Patrick Zahn and Dirk Ankenbrand, who is responsible for the areas of goods, logistics and supply chain management.
