Kiira Korpi, 34, says on Instagram about his serious accidentwhich happened a week and a half ago in New York.
Korpi had fainted for some reason and he fell in the hallway of the apartment building and hit his head and face violently on the stone floor. Korpi was rushed to the hospital.
– It’s a miracle that I only survived with a concussion, a broken nose and several stitches in my face and head, Korpi writes.
According to Korvi, the accident was violent physically, but also mentally. Korpi tells how he had already felt a downright crushing fear that if he needed help, no one would help.
– To be honest, I didn’t always feel so well even before the accident, Korpi continues.
Korpi thanks for all the support and help he has received. Korpi especially thanks his beloved Pekka, who “traveled halfway around the world” to be with Korvi, so that he wouldn’t have to go home alone.
In addition to the family, Korve’s friend Kaitlyn, who was Korve’s support in the hospital and held his hand, is also thanked. Kaitlyn also demanded the best possible plastic surgeon for Korve to treat Korve’s facial injuries. Ale’s friend, on the other hand, was Korpi’s company many nights when Korpi was afraid to sleep alone.
– I think this accident tore something open in me (in my heart, not just in my face, haha), and I feel like with so many people’s help, I’ve started to deal with my old fear and really trust people and myself in a new way.
