In the ongoing trial against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, one of the most prominent witnesses has so far stated on Thursday (May 22nd): rapper Kid Cudi, bourgeois Scott Mescudi. The reason for his statement is his earlier relationship with singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, who is also the central figure in the process.

As “BBC” reported, Mescudi described several incidents in a two -hour statement in which he was said to have felt threatened by Sean “Diddy” Combs. In December 2011 he housed Ventura in a hotel after Combs found out about their relationship. Shortly afterwards Combs is said to have been in Mescudi’s house. Diddy said on the phone: “I’m here and wait for you.” When Mescudi arrived at home, the surveillance cameras were adjusted, gifts were ransacked and his dog was imprisoned in the bathroom.
Another incident is said to have occurred in January 2012. After the end of the relationship with Ventura, Mescudi’s car was attacked with a Molotow cocktail. A dog father informed him that the car was on fire. The public prosecutor presented photos of the completely burned -out vehicle in the court. Mescudi suspects Diddy to put behind the attack, but this denies any participation.
Statements on the relationship with Cassie
According to “TMZ”, the earlier relationship between Mescudi and Cassie was also discussed in court. In the survey by Diddy’s defender Brian Steel, Mescudi was surprised that Ventura had resumed her relationship with Combs. Steel asked him: “She fooled you?”, What was the affirmative of Mescudi. When the lawyer continued to hook: “You had no idea that Cassie was back with Diddy?” Mescudi replied: “No idea.”
Sean “Diddy” Combs continues to reject all allegations and does not guilty. The 55-year-old has been in custody since autumn 2024. In the event of a conviction, he threatens lifelong imprisonment.
