Goud’s family was known as strict Reformed: ‘So bad for the parents’
The 29-year-old Peter died on Tuesday evening due to a stab incident in a house in Gouda. His 25-year-old brother was arrested as a suspect.
The kickboxing school reports that Peter was an “enthusiastic fighter” within the team. “We will never forget his strength, discipline and dedication.”
“We sympathize intensely with his family and loved ones in these unimaginably difficult times. Your strength and support mean a lot. Rest softly, Peter. You stay in our hearts and in the room,” said Silent Dragon Gouda.
Strict Reformed family
The family of the victim and the suspect is known as strict Reformed. “It doesn’t say everything, it turns out again,” a neighbor told De Telegraaf on Wednesday. “Dresses, no pants. Twice to church every Sunday. But you see that here more often, there is also a reformational primary school nearby. They were nice people, also the parents. For them I find it so bad.”
