Kenan Thompson will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on August 11. The actor and comedian is known for the comedy film Good Burgeraction movie Snakes on a Plane and the series Saturday Night Live.
“Kenan Thompson is the voice of a generation,” said Ana Martinez, the producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “From Kenan and Kel until Saturday Night LiveKenan has been making people laugh for almost 30 years.”
The actor will soon experience his 20th anniversary in the program Saturday Night Live. “We thought it would be appropriate to put Kenan’s star next to the star of the man who gave him his job, Lorne Michaels.”
The actor will receive the 2728th star on the world famous path, joining stars like Dwayne Johnson, Elvis Presley, Britney Spears and Chris Rock.
