The Kempa brand, which belongs to Uhlsport GmbH, becomes the new outfitter of the handball tradition club TBV Lemgo Lippe.
From the coming season, Kempa will also “fully” equip the perspective team in the 3rd league and the youth performance teams playing in the 3rd division, both partners explained on Wednesday. The collaboration is “long -term, but at least for the next five years”.
Tim Grothaus, the Head of Sponsoring near Kempa, paid tribute to the agreement. “We are proud to be able to equip one of the most traditional clubs in the handball Bundesliga with the TBV Lemgo Lippe in the future, and we look forward to a trusting partnership,” he said in a statement. “The TBV, like the Kempa brand, has become an integral part of the top team of the German handball landscape and stands strongly for long-lasting and sustainable resistance in sports.”
The brand specializing in handball products also relies on the club’s radiance. “In the future, the Lemgo location should act as a lighthouse into the region and inspire other sports and handball enthusiasts fans and customers for the brand, their quality and the common values,” said the company.
A showroom of the label in the Lemgoer Phoenix Contact-Arena should contribute to this, in which the Bundesliga team of the TBV plays its home games. There should be “made the brand tangible,” said Kempa.
