Chair backs in the National Football League: The San Francisco 49ers from the US professional league NFL have signed Chip Kelly as their new head coach. The team announced this on Thursday. The 52-year-old lost his job with the Philadelphia Eagles just over two weeks ago and is now following Jim Tomsula in San Francisco. The stubborn Kelly, previously a successful coach at the University of Oregon, had come under criticism in his third year in Philadelphia after he also took on managerial duties. He then made numerous extremely controversial personnel decisions that did not bring the desired success.
