Kazakhstan security chief jailed for treason, Germany suspends arms deliveries

The authorities in Kazakhstan have arrested the former head of the internal security service, the KNB. The agency announced that former chief and former prime minister Karim Masimov is suspected of high treason. Germany has temporarily restricted arms exports to Kazakhstan due to the unrest in the country.
