National judoka Kayra Sayit won the gold medal in +78 kg at the 19th Mediterranean Games held in Algeria.
In the women’s judo +78 kg final of the games held in the city of Oran, the star and crescent athlete faced Tunisian Nihel Cheikh Rouhou.
Kayra Sayit beat her Tunisian rival with waza-ari in the final match and reached the top of the podium.
