Katy Perry performs “When I’m Gone” and “Never Really Over” on Saturday Night Live

Pop singer Katy Perry performed for the fourth time last Saturday on the TV show “Saturday Night Live”. Perry performed her new single “When I’m Gone,” which is a collaboration with DJ Alesso. She was supported by very interesting looking dancers.

In addition, Perry performed the track “Never Really Over” from her current album SMILE, which was released in 2020.

The performance is arguably a preview of the first round of Katy Perry residency shows in Las Vegas. Even before the start, the demand was so great that Perry announced 16 more dates. The show now runs March 2-19 and May 27-June 11, 2022 in Las Vegas.

The SNL episode also saw Willem Dafoe make his debut as the show’s host. Katy Perry is the third musical guest of the year, following MÃ¥neskin and Bleachers, who each made their debuts on the show in previous weeks.

The next episode “Saturday Night Live” can already be seen on February 26, this time LCD Soundsystem has been announced as the musical guest.
