Rapper and internet star Katja Krasavice made the headlines on Ascension Day after being stopped under a police check for driving under the influence of alcohol. Around 3:20 a.m. she was traveling with her white BMW in Leipzig when the police stopped in a lock.
Too high speed and too much alcohol
According to the police report, Krasavice noticed at a high pace, and the officials had to drive her at 100 km/h to stop her. During the check, a breath alcohol test resulted in a value of 0.7 mg/l, which corresponds to the equivalent of 1.4 per thousand blood alcohol. Her driver’s license was secured on site, and it is now in the investigation due to drunkenness in traffic.
Supposedly inappropriate behavior on the part of the police
In addition to the police control, a voice message that Katja Krasavice received after the check caused a stir. In this message, a supposed police officer claims that he wants to meet with her and criticizes that his colleagues “exaggerate”. The police are currently examining how the stranger got to Krasavices telephone number. There is suspicion of a data protection violation, but so far there is no evidence that the caller is a real civil servant.

Katja Krasavice publicly commented on the incident and apologized to her fans. In a short TIK-TOK video, she emphasized that she would never do something like this again. She admitted to being with a friend that evening, consuming one or two drinks and then driving – a decision that she now regrets.
