The chimney also needs to smoke for Katja Schuurman and Babette van Veen and that is why they have revived their former musical act. The two performed a new Christmas song in the studio last night RTL Boulevardbut that was really horror. What a sound came from those two fifties: absolutely unheard of.
Torture method
Katja sounds like a French girl and still has some charisma, but Babette moves as if we were watching Netherlands in Motion. Gosh, gosh, gosh. And that waddling isn’t even the worst thing, but the sound that comes out of it… It’s almost transgressive that Boulevard didn’t send them away from rehearsals.
The viewers of Boulevard are merciless. “New ideal torture method for the CIA: make Linda and Jessica sing. No interviewee will not talk,” sneers X-influencer Vincent G. de Vlugt.
“Go cook or something!”
Viewer Sjaak thinks it is unprecedented that this is broadcast on national television. “Man, man. Jessica and Linda, go cook or something. How bad!”
Richie: “God, what a false drama those two…”
Tassie: “Well, this wasn’t necessary.”
And Marie-Jose: “They can sing, those girls. Not worth listening to!”
