The NHL’s traditional Winter Classic game was played at Fenway Park, the Boston Red Sox’s more than a hundred-year-old stadium. At the ceremonies, you could see the icon section of the Boston Bruins Johnny Bucyk and Zdeno Chara and of course Bobby Orrwho dropped the puck For Sidney Crosby and For Patrice Bergeron.

The host Bruins are having a great regular season, but the special game was sticky.

– The puck bounces a bit, but we should still be able to create a game, Bruins pack Hemp Lindholm stated during the second set break on Yle’s broadcast.

Kasperi Kapanen gave the Penguins the lead in the second period. Jeff Carter and Danton Heinen won the end game and served in front of the goal. Kapanen was on his knees but elegantly tapped the puck into the back corner.

Fenway Park got what it wanted in the final set. Jake DeBrusk first spun the equalizer and scored the winning goal from the rebound just over two minutes before the buzzer.

The Bruins are number one in the entire NHL: 36 games, 62 points.
