Karina Milei took care of the last piece of the planned execution of Santiago Caputo. On Sunday afternoon he took his cell phone, opened the Telegram application – the one who uses when he wants to talk about important things – and came into conversation with Luis Majul, his header journalist. The message he transmitted was, in truth, a nuclear bomb: he had decided to formally displace Santiago Caputo of the “iron tríngulo”, by empowering Guillermo Francos and adding him to the smaller table of power. A few hours later Majul told in his program that decision that “the president had made”, as the sister told him.
This episode, although it is almost anecdotal in the middle of the war for the lists that left the wounded off -death advisor, perfectly reflects the functioning of freedom progress and the Milei brothers. He showed that it is Karina who truly has power within the government, someone who even made a decision made in the mouth of the president. The chief of cabinet, meanwhile, learned in those hours of his alleged empowerment. It is that he was just a piece of chess of the general secretary. The only thing that prevents the end of the internal is the imminent elections.
But Karina already knows what she wants. It’s just a matter of time. Internal The election of candidates for Buenos Aires began to settle a pulse that started from the zero minute of this government, and perhaps before: the fight to see who has more power within the ruling party. That round trip had had a peak when, at the end of last year, Caputo presented to his group “the forces of heaven”, with the declared intention of occupying places in the lists. With that goal they had moved since then. And near the moment of definition, when the self -proclaimed “Kremlin Magician” began to sniff the obvious outcome -“I am beginning to lose patience,” he tweeted in the previous days -even sent Daniel Parisini to talk to the president.
