Actor and director Kari Franck is dead, reported General.
The death news is confirmed to Yle from Franck’s immediate circle.
Franck was 84 when he died.
Franck made a long career as an actor and director. He started his career as a director in the 1970s.
One of his biggest guidance was Railwaymovie in 1973. It was a movie Juhani Aho From the classic book of the same name.

Franck also guided the highly popular Home streetseries from 2000 to 2002. He described To Helsingin Sanomat In 2020, the guidance of series like Kotikatu to “so -called crispbread”.
– Not everyone agreed, but that was never a problem for me. For me, doing the whole was a celebration, Franck told HS.
“I quickly realized that I could do my own works in peace, while doing a little crispbread,” he told the magazine.
