The Cologne pocket and accessories provider Kapten & Son GmbH remains on an expansion course. Last Saturday, the company opened a store at Grabenstraße 1 in Düsseldorf, and on March 8, a new shop at Kaiserstrasse 15 in Frankfurt am Main is to follow.

The “Experience Store” concept is used at both locations, which had celebrated its premiere in the Cologne shop of Kapten & Son. It offers “the customer: various interactive stations available inside to maximize the product experience,” explained the company.

This means that backpacks can be filled on the “Packing Table”. In addition, a so-called “Magic Mirror” allows the prospective buyer: “to look at yourself from behind-a function that is particularly interested in backpack buyers”.

With the two new openings, the brand extends its sales network to 13 shops, which include two outlets. The company also announced the next steps. Kapten & Son wants to open an outlet in Metzingen on April 4, and on April 8th there will be a store in the new shopping center Westfield Hamburg-Übersequartier.
