Kanye West tells Billie Eilish to apologize to Travis Scott – this is her response

Kanye West wants Billie Eilish to apologize to Travis Scott. The reason is an incident at a concert by the singer, which some saw as a dig at Scott. But according to Eilish, this is a misunderstanding.

At the said concert, a spectator got short of breath. When Eilish became aware of this, she interrupted her show. Turning to the fan, she organized an inhaler for the girl with the help of her crew. Soon the affected person got better and Eilish was able to continue her performance. A little later she came back on stage to talk about the incident. To her audience, she said, “I won’t move on until people are better.”

This statement was interpreted on social media as a dig at Scott and the Astroworld disaster. A stampede broke out during the rapper’s performance at the 2021 Astroworld festival. Ten people lost their lives and hundreds more were injured. Unlike Eilish, Scott didn’t interrupt his show back then. This behavior has been heavily criticized. Scott later said he didn’t see what was happening from the stage.

“Come on Billie we love you please apologize to Trav”

In Scott’s defense, West wrote via Instagram: “Come on Billie we love you please apologize to Trav and the families of the people who lost their lives. Nobody wanted something like this to happen. Trav didn’t notice any of this while he was on stage and he was very upset by the events. Yes, Trav will be performing with me at Coachella, but before that, I want an apology from Billie.”

But according to Eilish, the whole thing is a misunderstanding. The singer commented, “I literally didn’t say anything about Travis. I just helped a fan.”

Travis Scott has also spoken several times in the past about what happened at his Astroworld festival: “Of course, when something like this happens, you want to stop the show. You want everyone to get the help they need. If I noticed something like that during my performances, I always did. I always pay attention to the mood of the crowd. But this time I just didn’t notice it.”
