Kanye West uploaded a video to Twitter on Thursday night (November 24) to Friday (November 25) summarizing his visit to Donald Trump in Florida. As Kanye West reports, Trump was surprised by the visit and ended up insulting West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian. In the video, Milo Yiannopoulos, who is helping West with his campaign, stands across from him and listens.
The video begins with an overlay, “Yeezy Headquarters. Los Angeles, California. Mar-A-Lago debriefing,” and West begins to relate, “I think what upset Trump the most was [war nicht]that I asked him to be my vice president. I think that was at the bottom of the list of things that surprised him. It was the fact that I came in with support.” The rapper is referring to people like Nick Fuentes, who Trump was “very impressed with.” West explains it’s because Nick Fuentes is very loyal. Commenting on American politics, Fuentes is a former YouTuber who was banned from YouTube in 2020 for hate speech.
Loyalty appeals to West because he asked Trump the question, “why, when you had the opportunity, didn’t you release the January 6th people?” stormed. According to Kanye West, these are the only people who were still loyal to Trump after everyone else was advised to distance themselves from him. Trump apparently responded with a “mafia-esque” story about what he went through to pardon Alice Johnson and get him out of jail. “He told me [davon] and how he didn’t do it for Kim, he did it for me.” Kim Kardashian met with Trump in 2018 to persuade him to pardon. “But then he continued, “Kim is […] and you can tell her I said that,” and I was like, ‘That’s the mother of my kids,'” Kanye West says, censoring the insults.
At the end, West proclaims, “Since we [und] all Christians who love Trump know that Trump is a conservative, we will demand that [Trump] bases all policies directly on the Bible.” Additionally, West pokes fun at Trump’s “screaming at the table telling him” West was going to lose. “Did that ever work for anyone in the story?” he asks, giggling, ending the video with, “Wait, you’re talking to Ye!”
