Kanye West is suspected of hitting one of his fans. The case is now under investigation and he could even face jail time if the allegations against him are confirmed.
The incident broke public just hours after it was announced that Ye would be headlining this year’s Coachella Festival. West reportedly got into an argument with a fan who asked for his autograph around 3 a.m. Thursday morning outside the SoHo Warehouse in Los Angeles. West is said to have hit the man. By the time police arrived, the rapper had already left the scene.
“TMZ” released a video in which West can be heard yelling at the man.
The police said they would investigate the case. Kanye West could face up to six months in prison if charged with minor assault. West himself has not yet commented on the allegations.
Most recently, in addition to his plans to travel to Russia and meet Putin, Ye made headlines with his relationship with actress Julia Fox. The two only met on New Year’s Eve, which is why many fans think the relationship is staged.
