Kanye West is also collaborating with Marilyn Manson for DONDA 2

In case anyone needed further proof that Kanye West doesn’t give a damn about what other people think, West is also reportedly collaborating with Marilyn Manson for DONDA 2, the follow-up to his August 2021 album DONDA, announced for a February 22 release.

Rock musician Manson has been making headlines for around a year because several women have accused him of physical abuse. Ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood recently accused him of raping her while filming the video for the song “Heart-Shaped Glasses” in 2007.

That didn’t stop Kanye West from singing “Jail, Pt.” for DONDA with Manson. 2″ and to invite the so-called “shock rocker” to his listening parties. And West probably doesn’t care about the public criticism of this collaboration either: In an interview, Digital Nas, who acts as one of the producers on DONDA 2, explained that Manson has anything but disappeared from West’s musical and private orbit.

“Every day I go into the studio, Marilyn is there working on ‘Donda 2,'” says Digital Nas. What exactly is he doing? “Ye don’t want Marilyn to make rap beats. He wants him to play what he wants – and then take parts of it, sample it and repurpose it, like he did on his Yeezus album.” Digital Nas also believes they have an answer as to why West continues to work with Manson: “Yes’ point of view is that we all make mistakes. That’s why he performed with DaBaby and Manson. He believes that we are all sinners. We shouldn’t point fingers at others.”

Manson denies the allegations. The trials of Brian Warner, Manson’s real name, are ongoing or pending.
