The ten-year-old performs a rap part on VULTURES 1 – now the LP is topping the charts.
In mid-February, Kanye West released the album VULTURES 1 together with rap colleague Ty Dolla $ign. Also featured on it: West’s ten-year-old daughter North West. She has a rap part in the track “Talking” and she also presents herself extensively in the accompanying music video. Now VULTURES 1 has climbed to pole position on the US “Billboard Hot 200” charts, making Kanye West’s offspring one of the youngest artists in the charts.
Another success: “Talking” can now also be found in the singles charts – previously in 30th place.
Mother Kim Kardashian is proud
North West’s mother and Ye’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, shared a chart overview screenshot on her Instagram Story on Wednesday (February 21), announcing the 10-year-old’s chart debut: “North West gained this week her first positioning on the Hot 100 with “Talking.” She is the youngest artist to ever make it into the charts at the age of ten.” Kim Kardashian simply wrote: “My baby!!!”
North West also performed their rap part live. In December 2023, she was on stage at a listening party for VULTURES 1 to perform “Talking” with her father and Ty Dolla $ign.
