When Ye last played in Germany as part of his Yeezus tour, he still called himself Kanye West.
When Kanye West last played in Germany, Angela Merkel was still Chancellor and the DFB team was almost, but not quite, world champions in Brazil. That was in 2014. Back then, the rapper was even seen twice in Berlin, with a guest appearance at a Drake gig and with an appearance in Wuhlheide. Since then he has only visited Good Ol’ Germany for PR reasons. Tour? None!
However, other European countries and even Great Britain have also recently been punished with absenteeism. As is well known, that is changing this year. Ye, as West now calls himself, is planning guest appearances in several countries:
- Istanbul, Türkiye: May 30, 2026 (Atatürk Olympic Stadium)
- Arnhem, Netherlands: 6/7. June 2026 (GelreDome)
- Marseille, France: June 11, 2026 (Orange Vélodrome)
- Reggio Emilia, Italy: July 18, 2026 (RCF Arena / Hellwatt Festival)
- Madrid, Spain: July 30, 2026 (Riyadh Air Metropolitano)
- Algarve, Portugal: August 7, 2026 (Estádio Algarve
The musician is also headlining the Wireless Festival from July 10th to 12th and plans to perform three times in Finsbury Park. We can’t wait to see whether all of these gigs will take place after all the escapades of the last few years. At least the new album “Bully” is now in stores, even though it was apparently reassembled in the last few weeks for use on Spotify and Co.
Ye concerts in Germany?
The question remains whether Ye will soon be singing his songs in Germany again. There are currently no concerts announced. However, the likelihood of this changing is low. The tour calendar for Ye is already clearly planned out. In addition to the now usual exclusivity strategy (many shows are marketed as the only concert in the respective country), there are already a few XXL concerts in stadiums in Germany in the summer, for example by Helene Fischer and Linkin Park.
Nothing is known about negotiations with German organizers. There is currently no information about concerts in Berlin, Munich or other cities.
Anyone who is still drawn to one of Ye’s performances in another country despite hefty ticket prices of up to 800 euros should prepare for a performance that deviates from standard concerts. Concert organizers in the Netherlands and Italy are already pointing this out.
