Kamiel’s life revolves entirely around the waves. This morning he left Paris with his father for Hawaii, where he will train in the coming weeks. He will then go to Ireland and also to Peru, where the world championship is scheduled.
“Next year I want to participate in the World Championships for adults,” he says. “You can qualify for the Olympic Games there. The 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles may come too early, but 2032 in Brisbane is my real goal.”
