Rally website Dirtfish tells that Kalle Rovanperä and Esapekka Lappi are taking part in the national level HYAcenter rally around Tampere between the Estonian and Finnish World Cup rallies.

The race of eight special stages and 80 kilometers will be run on July 29.

According to the source, also the M-sport driver Ott Tänak would be interested in the Tampere race, but the team is still thinking about whether it wants to burden the 2019 world champion between important races. Tänak has already promised to ride in the Estonian national competition before his home World Cup race.

The HYAcenter rally is organized by PR-Racing from Tampere. Its spokesman Jarno Saari was surprised by Dirtfish’s news and tells Iltalehte that the participation of Rovanperä or Lapland has not been confirmed. He reveals that the race organizers have negotiated with the MM teams.

Registration for the competition opened before Midsummer. The deadline for registration is July 18.

The Estonian rally starts on July 20.
