Quoted from KingHarvey15

Many are interested in Kalajdzic but nobody wants him 100% everywhere he is the B solution. He should extend again at VFb and play next season and get an award and then switch to a bigger club that wants him 100% and where no one has any doubts and sees him as a b solution.

That’s an interesting thought and I understand the idea that he can continue to mature in the Stuttgart area and then take the next step. But I think staying there is almost impossible:
– Kaljadzic has obviously attracted interest from big clubs despite a season he largely missed. Will he return to this position after another year at VfB, possibly with a relegation battle and injuries? Doesn’t seem like a serious consideration for a player who now(!) has the opportunity to make such a move.
– VfB expects the income from the sale. We have to achieve transfer surpluses, so you can’t let him go on a free transfer unless an extension is an option (see above). Before you make him a mega offer (including an exit clause that will hardly exceed the amounts currently being traded), without knowing whether he will confirm his performance/stay healthy/remain relevant for financially strong clubs, I’ll let him through the golden goal go a lá “VfB way works”, “says goodbye as a hero by staying up”, … and count the bills.
