The Italian Basicnet Spa, based in Turin, to which the brands Kappa, Robe di Kappa, Jesus Jeans, K-Way, Superga, Briko, Sebago and Sabelt belong to their provisional figures for 2024. According to this, the total turnover of all brands increased by 3.3 percent to 1.2 billion euros. 864.7 million euros come from sales to commercial and direct licensees and 313.8 million euros from sales to production licenses.
The consolidated sales amounted to 409.2 million euros, which corresponds to an increase of 3.1 percent, including 60.9 million euros in license fees and 346.8 million euros in direct sales, which corresponds to an increase of 4.2 percent. The EBITDA was 61.1 million euros, which is due to increased investments in sponsorship, communication and staff, the company said.
“2024 was a very satisfactory year for the group, especially since these results were still achieved in a very complex macroeconomic environment,” said CEO Federico Trono. “The gradual improvement of economic performance and equity position in the course of the year, supported by the solid commercial growth of the brand brands, enabled us to achieve record sales and a record -bitbit. At the same time, the operating capital was optimized and debt was reduced to banks. All of these components confirm the strategic basis of our business model, which is aimed at long -term, sustainable growth of the brand brands. “
