Juventus and Frosinone have already met twice this season, in the space of a few days. In the first leg of the championship, the day before Christmas, the Bianconeri won 2-1 in Ciociaria: Yildiz took the lead, Baez equalized and Vlahovic scored the decisive goal. In the one-match quarter-final played at the Allianz Stadium on 11 January, Juventus won 4-0 with three goals from Milik and one from Yildiz.

how Juventus gets there

The Bianconeri haven’t won for more than a month: last success on January 21st in Lecce, 3-0. Since then two draws, with Empoli and in Verona in the last match, and two defeats in between, at Inter and against Udinese. In their own stadium, given the missteps against the Tuscans and Friulians, Juventus have not won since January 16th, 3-0 against Sassuolo. Allegri’s team is currently second, 9 behind leaders Inter, who however have a game to recover, and with a two-point advantage over third-placed Milan.

how does Frosinone get there?

The Ciociari have not won since January 21st, 3-1 at home against Cagliari and the only success for Di Francesco’s team in the last three months. Frosinone have lost their last three matches and eight of their last ten played. Defeated 5-1 in their last match away from home in Florence, the Ciociari are the worst team in Serie A away from home with 3 points in 12 games: three draws and nine defeats so far.
