Juventus are back with a win

After two draws in a row, the Italian soccer record champions Juventus Turin found their way back on the fourth matchday of Serie A.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri’s team won 2-0 (1-0) against Spezia Calcio and temporarily moved up to fourth place in the table – two points behind leaders AS Roma.

Without the former Bundesliga pros Flip Kostic, Denis Zakaria and Weston McKennie in the starting XI, top striker Dusan Vlahovic (9th) put the old lady ahead with a free kick worth seeing.

Already in the previous week against AS Roma, the Serb had converted a stationary ball directly. But as a result, there were few more chances to score – before Arkadiusz Milik (90+2), who had just been substituted on, put the end to the game.

In the parallel game, SSC Napoli did not go beyond a 1-1 (1-1) draw against newly promoted US Lecce. Lazio Rom (1-1 at Sampdoria Genoa) also lost points. The Lazio lead by former BVB striker Ciro Immobile (21st) had compensated for Genoa’s Manolo Gabbiadini (90th + 2) in injury time.
