Juve, Chiesa and Danilo can be called up for Napoli

The striker has overcome the consequences of Wednesday’s clash with Alex Sandro and could start from 1′. The Juventus captain is destined to sit on the bench

Good news for Allegri on the eve of Napoli-Juventus: Chiesa and Danilo trained as a group and, therefore, are ready to leave for the away match in Campania. Individual conditions need to be assessed: the attacker suffered a blow to his right foot on Wednesday but it was only a contusion, while the defender is suffering from a more serious problem which has already caused him to miss the match against Frosinone, even though he hasn’t reported no injury to his left ankle. The captain should therefore start from the bench, while the ownership of the number 7 cannot be ruled out.

TOWARDS NAPLES-JUVE

Allegri will still have training to make the final assessments, and the run-off between Chiesa and Yildiz is not the only one. The emergency in midfield (Rabiot and McKennie out) requires finding a plan B that can guarantee ideas and structure: although the candidacies of Miretti and Nicolussi Caviglia are still valid, the Cambiaso hypothesis takes shape for the role of right midfielder (with Weah on the right wing) together with Locatelli and Alcaraz, the latter making his first start since arriving in Turin. Kostic should be on the left, Vlahovic up front. Gatti, Bremer and Rugani should start behind: unless Danilo is deemed ready to handle a long playing time. In Naples it will be the first time as a former player for Giuntoli, chosen by the Juve owners to start a new cycle, after eight seasons crowned with the scudetto in blue.
