Juve’s women’s team wins and convinces against Benfica. Dream European night for Salvai: first double
What a debut for Juventus of Maximilian Canzi. The Juventus Women, after the league draw against Sassuolo, had the objective of taking to the field for the first of Champions League to win. An unlucky start, due to A’s goal in the 6th minutetheves, did not prevent the women’s comeback.
The reaction, however, was more than convincing: Benfica was slowly crushed in their own half, until the momentary equalizer of I saved. At the end of the first half, however, a goal was disallowed Bonansea for Girelli’s offside.
The second half didn’t keep up with the pace of the first half but Juve found courage and started to push towards the end.
